•You will not have SPSS on your computer, those are for the TAs
•The concepts required for the entire course’s remaining topics occur early in the course
•First three weeks: B07 review after class
•Tutorials have no quizzes
•Grading
•Best 4 out of at least 7 assignments (10%)
•Any assignment given before the second midterm are due at the midterm
•Any assignments assigned after the midterm, are due at the final
•First midterm (20%) May 30th, 5 PM
•Second midterm (30%) July 4th, 5 PM
•Makeup exams will occur the Tuesday after the original exam, the date and place will be posted on
Professor Bors’ office door
•If you miss both the original and the makeup, then you will need to provide appropriate
documentation (emergency, medical illness) to the psychology office
•Final (40%)
•New policy for missed term work (assignments)
•No physician note required
•If something happens where you are going to miss assignments, etc., talk to the professor
•It is okay to collaborate on the assignments, but do not write it up together, photocopy it, and then
submit it—in the end, it is your work

First Midterm
•Chapter 1
•A few sections of other chapters (2, 4, 5, 6, 7)
•A part of chapter 8
•First midterm works on logic, basic framework for the rest of the course
Second Midterm
•Will cover the elaboration added after the first midterm
•Are the exams cumulative?
•In a way, yes—you will need to know how to calculate the mean, for example
•However, these will be indirectly covered
