When someone says they"re cultured , it means they are refined, educated, and knowledgeable so they have self-improved over time. From a psychology perspective the best definition of culture is: culture is a collective programming of the mind that distinguishes the members of one group of people from another. Crows, ravens and jays can manipulate tools to dig up insects. If crows were grouped into different ecosystems which had different types of trees, the different groups would shape the branches differently to create the tools they needed to dig up insects. This video shows that chimps can learn things and then teach it to their group and thus have cultural differences between groups.
