In independent cultures, people are more focused on understanding others needs and wants, what they feel inside, and where they come from. Want to be able to be in control of our destiny. Independent cultures are more focused on the control of their individualistic aspects. They feel a sense of agency when they are able to have influence over situations (able to do themselves)
