Traditions (some people have values and beliefs that are distinct in their culture) We often become unaware of learning new culture that is being passed down to us. Symbolic communication (we perform tasks differently depending on the acquired culture) Enculturation - continuity;sharing cultural elements to a community. Acculturation - discontinuity;learning new things outside one"s cultural group. Animals can also passed down behaviors/manners to the next generation. It can be done through observation (i. e. chimpanzee) - they can share learned knowledge to others. Prefrontal cortex (frontal lobe) - advanced learning;we are more equipped. When it comes to learning skills that make us acquire a lot of knowledge compared to other species. For example, humans can learn how to read and write that helps them advanced in learning new skills. They are able to follow instructions and learn skills on their own.
