Development of child is not done after birth need the environment to finish development. We"re born needing relationships because humans are very social beings. The first priority of an infant is to figure out the way to move around its environment. Data can be put into two different methods: cross-sectional studies and longitudinal studies. Cross-sectional comparison of different individuals over different groups (usually different age) easiest study but the worry is that there are extraneous factors outside of their age. Longitudinal specific individual is studied at different points in time (i. e. at different ages) takes time and also subjects get repeated use with tasks (practice effect) Neither techniques are perfect but they are both commonly used. Indoctrination holding views because everyone around us has these views. Discourages people to think things through via thought. Conception single sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell can split and become two genetically identical eggs (identical twins) or multiple sperms fertilize multiple eggs (fraternal twins)
