Psychology of music is a perfect interdisciplinary, contributed by those in music as well as psychologists. We are going to see ideas by psychologists and musicologists. There is also a huge influence from linguists in the music of psychology. There is a distinction between the objective and subjective structure of music. Objective form is what has been played and studied by musicologists. Subjective form is what the listener understands from music and is studied by psychologists. Objectively, there are music attributes that are perceived as well as not perceived by the listener. Example of subjective form: psychological experience not corresponding to attributes.
