Imperialism: the economic domination of one country by another. Global commodity chain: worldwide network of labour and production processes whose end result is finished commodity. Commodity binds consumers and producers in a global commodity chain: ex. Nike they produce their shoes abroad because it is much cheaper, but employees make very little (sh. 20 an hour) and face harassment.
