Capitalist mode of production reorganized society into 2 distinct and unequal classes -> (1) the working class who worked on a wage for labour basis and (2) the capitalist class: owned the means of production and commodities. Wage workers relied on their wage for survival. As capitalists increase the working class and labour, the wages decrease. The workers sell their work as labour, so their work is thus a commodity that they sell. The working class was not a victim they were active agents of a historical change. Because of revolutionary: seizes state power and abolishes capitalist mode of production. Communism: form each according to his ability, to each according to his needs! Transforms from class in itself from exploitation to class for itself (internal transformation)
