Violence against women is something that happens to women and the vulnerable groups. It is a very difficult issue to deal with. Statistically worldwide 40-90% of women will be sexually assaulted or harassed during their lifetime. Sexual assault/harassment occurs in streetcars, streets, libraries, and all various places. Recently several activists who protested against violence in china were arrested during the international women"s day and are not being released. Even though this is an important issue people prefer not to talk about it for various reasons. A good man is hard to bash: is a reflective piece that talks about a woman"s experience when she talked to a friend who was a guy about her relationship experience. She was going to allow that to happen again and again assuming that there will be always ups and downs in a relationship. Running away was not perceived by her as an option.
