Another Texture practice
Open Photoshop
Make sure foreground colour is white
Choose text tool and change font size to 90- choose bold if available
Layer-> layer style-> bevel and emboss
Technique : chisel hard; style: inner bevel; size: 10; depth: 215
Glass contour: choose ‘saw tooth wave’
Check off ‘anti-aliased’ shading box
Layer-> Rasterize -> Type
Hold down cntrl and click on the layer-> this selects just the text
Filter-> Noise-> Add noise (25% and check off monochromatic)
Layer-> blur-> motion blur
Change colour mode from ‘normal’ to ‘colour dodge’
Opacity: 20
Choose blue and start colouring the text
For the final exam: you need to choose one texture and edit it
One portion is texture creation
FLASH
Great for 2D animation
Open first document on the top of second column
Go to properties and change size to 800 by 200 (for banner)
Might be on exam:
> Two file types: FLASH .fla -> all my working files will be flash files
When we use this file on TV or internet, and you export it and make it SWIFT file .swf
(shockwave file)
Shockwave was really created for a thing called Director in the late 90’s-> the problem was
when you exported from Director, you created a file; director was not a vector program and
those raster files were HUGE, hence VERY slow to transmit
