Liberal feminism: the belief that reason distinguishes us from other animals (tong, 11, reason is defined as the ability to comprehend the rational principles of morality, then the value of individual autonomy is stressed. These women were the first to find themselves left at home with little productive work to do. Whereas men should be educated in virtues such as courage, temperance, justice, and fortitude. 19th century action: the suffrage: in many of the women"s rights movements, black women were considered invisible, and the rights movement was considered only for the liberation of white women. Neither white women nor white men seemed to notice much about black women. (22: sojourner truth, a famous black feminist, said, i have ploughed, and planted, and gathered into barns and no man could head me! I could work as much and eat as much as a man when i could get it and bear lash as well!
