Qualitative research: gynaecology research that a person asks someone, the process of using an instrumental research, capturing the opinions of the large number of people. Quantitative research: just want to know the facts, collecting the information and analyzing it by the numbers. Positivism there is truth out there/there is something out there to be discovered. The role of the researcher is to observe and measure. Objectivity: you are not putting your own bias and values. It is only on observable phenomena not based on emotions or personal prejudices.
