Document Summary

Not a very straight forward topic, with some even challenging the notion of culture. Culture = what we learn from each other vs. what was programmed by our genes. Definition would be learnt through the way it is used in lectures as no specific definition is given. However, culture is not biological (for this course at least. ) Although each culture is unique, living within a culture is universal. Humans identify with a culture and it has always been that way. Cultures themselves are different but not by much. Being able to have culture is programmed by our genes. Culture are significantly different, but not infinitely different, human cultures have more in common than differences. Cultures are similar and you may end up understanding many aspects of a different culture and trying to understand the things you don"t is the best part. Like cultures, languages have more in common than not.
