Constellations: a shape made out of stars. Western constellations vs. chinese constellations vs. egyptian, vs etc they differ. Constellations don"t actually mean anything but they are there. The shape of the constellation never changes (in our lifetime: but the position does. If you move from earth to pluto the constellations would look slightly different unnoticeable by the naked human eye. The distance b/w us and pluto is much smaller in comparison to us and a star. Size comparison us to a star = toronto to los angeles vs. earth to pluto one end of campus to another. All the stars moving around the point of ursa minor"s tip end that point is known as. The earth is turning in actuality not the stars: ex) we"re at the north pole, staring up and all the stars turning, if we"re on the south pole it would be straight down.
