astronomy oct 3 2013 Clicker quiz approximately, how often does a location on earth experience a high  tide? every 12 hrs  approximately how long apart are high tides fmor low tides? the answer is 6 hrs does this mean that high tides always occur at 3 lmm the moon is orbiting as well it takes how long for it to do a whole orbit  around us 29 and a half days, one day is here, we are rotating in each of  these positions a whole turn clicker quiz at what times approximately would we experience high tides when  there is a full moon? a. at 3pm and 3 am b. at 3 pm and 9am c. at 6 am and 6 pm d. at 3 am and 12 pm e. at 12 pm and 12 am e is correct. do other planets experiences tides too. the answer is a yes. also comets and moons experience tides.. notice that the force is larger
