Document Summary
After the collision, the momentums are transferred. M x v = momentum is conserved. Torque = higher force with a direction. Angular momentum = mass x velocity x radius. You would travel in a straight line unless force is applied or you bump into something. Explains why objects rotate faster as they shrink in radius. Think of a figure skater, each part of her body has a diff momentum, add them all up to get a total. If you bring in the twirling arms = shrink the radius = increase velocity. Angular momentum = m x v x radius. * the energy of the universe hasn"t changed since the big bang due to conservation. Chemical bonds are conserved by a barrier. If you add energy the chemical reaction can start and the energy is released kinetic/thermal/other energy. Kinetic (motion) -running into a wall - biking. Radiative (light) -like the sun on us. Potential (stored) like a can of gasoline.
