Document Summary

Periodic cycle of a lot if ice then not a lot of ice. Ice cores suggest that temperatures are warmer when there is not any ice. 0 = no change expansion = colder retreating = warmer. We are in a state of interglacial period. Sea level drops this is a long term prediction: with co2 we are overriding this. Short term prediction is different and due to human activity. Bjerknes = primitive equations using air movement, weather, momentums heat etc . Richardson: solving using observed data to predict the future, predicted the weather for 6 hours but it took him 6 weeks to come to the prediction. The reason we can"t predicted the weather is because of its chaotic nature. Designed to avoid alarmists" projections: conservative, slow procedural. The ipcc does not conduct its own research. Provides protocols and gets the best researchers. Resisting heat and radiation moving back into space.
