Roman period (31 bce 380 ce: emperor augustus, expansion of roman empire, most texts written in latin come from this period, roman empire becomes christian in 380 ce. Definition: a myth is a traditional story of collective importance (traditional meaning handed down through history, story is valuable to the whole society)
