She weaves during the day and unravels it all during the day: penelope at the loom reinforces the idea of her being a good wife. Weaving one of the more foremost women activities in a greek/roman household: clytemnestra; agamemnon sacrificed their daughter iphigeneia, clytemnestra angry because of it. And takes on the lover agisthus and they rule together. Agamemnon returns and they trick him and kill him: warning to odysseus. And penelope kind of the opposite of clytemnestra.
