Today we will be putting a direct spotlight on athens and see what it superior against other city states. Athens is the polis and is in a geographical region known as attica. The god of blacksmiths and crats fell in love with athena who is the patron goddess of. Athena is a virgin god; she does not sleep with anyone. When this god came onto her, she ran away. Extreme attachment; wouldn"t want to move away from the land; would want to stay on the land and fight for it. Makes them feel superior and exceptional to foreigners who would never have the same qualities. For an athenian, if you lived there your whole life, fought wars, such you could not become a citizen. Two parents need to be autochrothony for the child to be. Your fellow citizens are like your family- sense of equality.
