A set of parallels and relationships, little communities within the play. The world of athens, the world of the wood, the world of nature and desire that gets expressed. They have distinct social strata, and their own sense of speech. Puck speaks in iambic pentameter, but not blank verse, even within the verse speaking he is rhyming. Puck will also go into tetrameter, a four beat line that is associated with magic.
