When taking samples of each of the rocks and putting them in water with acid to simulate acid rain, one should tend to be more acidic than another. The granite would be more acidic, as it reacts more to acid rain while the limestone surrounding lake ontario is more able to compensate. So, fishies would be happier in lake ontario.
