Entering into a new phase in the development of italian art. Vasari gives us the idea of the renaissance that has three ages. Giotto was big protagonist for the first one. Experimental and eclectic age, interest in classical revival. The final age of the renaissance the age of maturity . The ideal of the psychological presence, and give figures 3 dimensionality, put them in perspective of space. Vasari and the way he strctures art through biographies. 3rd and final age of maturity, when he starts off his bigoraphies, he leads with leonards da vinci, ushers in age of maturity. Giotto is a product of the late 1400s but also break away from what his fellow artists are doing with leonardo"s drawings.
