It is the basic way of interpreting the world. It"s the basic way of interpreting things and events that pervades a culture so thoroughly that it becomes a culture"s concept of reality. Worldview is impacted by our perceptions and also impacts our perception. There are many elements you can connect into worldview (religion, politics etc: the relationship to time: in a lot of cultures they suggest that time is cyclical - a wheel that brings you back to the starting point. Different cultures have different expectations when it comes to time: different understandings of nature and humans place in it: european sense of humans at the top of a hierarchy vs. If you see humans as separate from nature or embedded in it: the idea of nature as property: indigenous communities think that the idea that you can own pieces of the world is ridiculous.
