Jean perrin (1870-1942) was a french physicist who, in his studies of the brownian motion of minute particles suspended in liquids, verified albert einstein"s explanation of this phenomenon and thereby confirmed the atomic nature of matter. Conclusion: different principle explains random motions overcome gravity. Is a type of electronic noise which can be modeled by poisson process. Originates from the discrete nature of electric charge. Occurs in photon counting in optical devices where shot noise is related to particle nature of light. Is a type of electronic noise generated by the thermal agitation of the charge carriers inside an electrical conductor at equilibrium.
