The limits of government and included in that is equality before the law, protection of citizens from autocracy. The emerging idea that people and political grouping of people is made with a common language, culture and history. The real power of the revolutions that occur at the end of the 17th century showed the relationships of the induvial to the state. To the revolutionaries, states was not just territory, but the people. It was the will of these people that governed how the state worked at home and abroad. In 1830 this idea bubbled in a series of revolutions. Impact on other states. the effects in 1830 caused the holy alliance (austria prussia and russia) to become stronger. French insist on upholding the peace of 1816. A bourbon king is replaced by another king descended from the bourbon line but distinguish themselves by calling themselves orleans.
