Effects of the industrial revolution in the 19th century. By the late 1860s england was completely industrialized as a state: produced more things than any place on the earth. As england produced more products, they were sold, and english ships came back with money and raw materials in return for their goods england grew richer. Social, economic and political structures were all effected by industrialization. Enormous effect on human beings as they had to change their ways of life. Major effect change in demography radical shift in population created modern urban societies. Population growth cause and effect of the industrial revolution: more people to buy stuff, more people to compete for jobs and keep the labor wages low. Rise of factories presupposed that people would go to a place of work and now have the work brought to you.
