Peoples park, Berkley Helter skelter ­ Charles manson ­ Tate/labianca ­ Altamont concert What killed the 60s? Helter Skelter!! Woodstock is the best aspects of counter culture  but other parts aren’t so good Apocalyptic race­war : helter skelter—Charles manson. Mainly young women with  simple clothes – but in the evening they get high and wait for his appearance. :  counter­cultural god? But really after kings assignation, race conflict on the rise and  integration *Altamont concert legacies: the great society and cnages and attitudes n what people and governments should do .  wars that escalate under presidents. And end to legal formal discrimination. We have  women finally gaining access to the working sphere. Educational reforms and  opening up to universities.
