Labs are held in BN330
Final is cumulative for the semester; contains variety of questions.
Labs will be tested on the final.
Performance vs. Learning
- To demonstrate that you have learned you must perform, but the opposite is
not always true.
- Those who remember a movement have learned; those who forget have
performed.
Describe a lesson for each of these tasks:
- Swimming- Practice a specific pace over and over again.
- Baseball pitching- Focusing on location of where the ball ends; do same type
of throw until learned.
Good for physiological aspects of training.
Performing well during a practice DOES NOT mean that you have learned.
