Tortured, imprisoned, (cid:283)liberated(cid:284) science from religion with kepler, newton etc. Created the scientific method: science nowadays (cid:283)pure(cid:284) science, no (cid:283)nonsense" Separated (cid:283)true(cid:284) science from (cid:283)pseudo" science: myths. Science was created in the 17th century; no science before. Contemporary science is all about empirical evidence, there(cid:284)s no metaphysics (all about observations) Science is a rational enterprise because of its universal method. Each succeeding scientific theory contains more and more true claims. There(cid:284)s a strict line between science and pseudo science. 1-5 are historical myths; 6-10 are philosophical myths: need history & philosophy of science to prevent ignorance, history of science. Changes of mosaic of accepted theories: contemporary scientific mosaic.
