Exposure assessment: lab observations vs. real life (extrapolation is a challenge, direct vs. indirect (potential biomagnification) chemical measurements. Dose-response assessment: can be many dose-response relationships for each chemical, graded vs. quantal dose-response, response of individual, response of population.
