Knowledge is the perception of agreement or disagreement
between ideas
Knowledge is when you have correctly perceived when two ideas
agree/disagree
You know something when you recognize the truth of something;
to perceive it is to know it
We can perceive identity and diversity of ideas
Intuition is the best kind of knowledge because it is the most
certain
Some things we know by intuition and some by demonstration
The lowest grade of knowledge is knowledge by sensation
Intuition: the one thing we know by intuition is our own existence
[page 98]
oBest kind of knowledge because it has total certainty and it
is infallible
Demonstration:
I exist, nothing does not produce something, so there’s some thing
that requires no producer, something that requires no producer
must be most powerful and something that requires no producer
must be the most knowing, so an omnipotent being exists [page
