Unlike many other alzheimer"s sufferers, she was not suffering. Dworkin asks, what if margo had had an advance directive that would suggest that she should not be fed if she developed severe. Dementia, or that she not be given any antibiotics if she develops an infection while suffering from alzheimer"s? that is, what if margo had said, should i acquire. Dementia such that i am not able to lead the life that i want to lead, i would like to have aid in dying? what do we do: she set out the conditions in an advance directive (ad). She is likely to be alive for a relatively long time (i. e. 5-10 years, at least).
