Former socialist countries including the ussr eastern europe, cuba, north korea, and some countries in africa (soviet union) Centralized and command economy (work for the government) Have undergone radical transformation since 1989 (the wall of germany breaking down east and west socialists and capitalists) Czech republic is now a successful capitalist state. Many have joined the european union (its a capitalist state) Some countries went up whereas others struggle in their transition to liberal democracy and market economy.
