Social market economy: many European countries; very structured in terms of labour
regulations; have more generous welfare state economies

Main point: despite fact that theoretically have majority of ppl able to elect same
mentality as they do when it comes to economic concept, people in upper
economies sphere have over amounted influence on politicians
So changes that occurred in 70s really influenced trajectory of politics today
