Fisher exact test - a way of predicting things. What are experiments and why do we do them. Has to have a stimuli / some people are exposed to the stimuli while others are not. Assignment to treatment has to be random and known. Stimulus - has an effect on an outcome. Applied to some people and not others, or applied at some times and not others. Medical experiment: people get either placebo pill while others get actual medicine. Some subjects must be put into treatment while others are put into control. For an experiment to be complete, we need to measure the results. Random assignment: flipping a coin before class to see if he will wear a tie.
