Generally arteries carry oxygenated blood and veins carry deoxygenated blood. Coronary arteries arise from aorta and how the heart feeds itself. Heart is divided into the left and right heart left and right heart is further divided into the upper chambers called the atria and lower chambers called the ventricles thus 4 chambered system: Ventricular muscle left ventricular muscles is much thicker than the right ventricular muscle. Enables the left heart to develop greater pressure to supply blood to body (systemic circuit)
