Emotions are important as they effect our lives in major ways: despite their ambiguities, emotions remain understandable and can be deconstructed. Important aspects underlying emotions include: cognitive framing, physiological/arousal processes. An implication is that that one does with one"s own body and mind is the emotional experience one will end up having; the emotional life one will eventually live. A second implication is that one"s life is very strongly determined by one"s emotions: during the expression of these emotions, one often lacks control of these processes.
