Everyone has a limited capacity to how much they can understand and process, which leads to biases, a shortcut. which we are often unaware of. These biases can cause a lot of problems. The fundamental insights are meant to help us understand and guide us through course readings, just as biases guide us. It becomes a framework - a top-down process- that is an organized system which gets activated, whether or not we believe in them. Instead of having to think of alternative methods and consequences at every instance (which would take a lot of time), we simply activate the framework of bias. Biases can create their own reality, because our perception affects our behaviour, which affects consequences. Through certain behavioural mechanisms, we create our own reality.
