The scientific method is a way of learning about the world through collecting observations, developing theories, and explaining them using the theories to make predictions. A hypothesis is a testable prediction about the processes that can be observed and measured. Pseudo science is an idea that is presented as science but does now actually utilize basic principles of scientific thinking or procedure. Theory is an explanation for a broad range of observations that also generate new hypotheses and integrates numerous finding into a coherent whole.
