Jan. 12, 2017: the scientific study of the effects of social and cognitive processes on the way individuals perceive, influence, and relate to others, perceive things that relate to social thinking, self-perception; forming impressions of others. Influence i. e. conformity, persuasion: relate to others, social relations development of friendships, romantic behaviours, these are all sections of social psychology that interact with one another. Difference between social psychology and sociology: social psychology is emphasized on the individual, sociology is focused on the group in a social context, social psychologists, as opposed to sociologists, conduct more experimental type research.
