Suzy cannot rmb a time when she felt happy. Though she has had her ups and downs, over last 2 years her mood has been progressively worse. She sleeps 10-12 hours every night, her appetite is out of control and has been consuming a lot more food, esp chips and chocolate. A lot of times drugs do not show efficacy, a part of it is due to putting two patients who have different symptoms in the same group of research. So the drug might work on one patient but not the other. Therefore the drug is not showing accurate efficacy. Showing sense of individual that looks depressed, a little bit sunken . Know if one ever has manic episodes. See if it"s true manic or one has ingested something. Prevalence of depressive sx higher than mania or hypomania. Bipolar ii frequent mdes, no full blown mania. Sub threshold hypomania sxs occur within depression.
