Securely attached = spent more time with peers friendships characterized by openness & trust. A few considerations: one may expect that bc of excessive caregiving demands on moms of twins, they will show less secure attachments. Could present challenges only child for years family structure changes pregnant mom may be embarrassing. Lifelong developmental process where we learn about ourselves perspective of self: development of cognition in childhood. Cognitive development advances how we can think about selves, others, social situations.
