The mind also exists outside of the person. Psychologists have not yet solved the mind-body problem. One ant is no ant. A million ants is a viable community of organisms that exhibits coordinated, self-directed behaviour. One neuron is no neuron. 100 billion neurons are you. How do our subjective experiences go from neurons to me? Three Types of Neurons 1. Sensory (Afferent) Neurons (body to brain) 2. Motor (Efferent) Neurons (brain to body) 3. Interneurons (thinking, reasoning, communicate amongst themselves)
