Jesus christ: (details we are mostly sure of although some are faith based) Born (4 bc) and died (about 33 ce) a jew. Birth is commemorated on december 25th (cid:271)ut that p(cid:396)o(cid:271)a(cid:271)ly (cid:449)as(cid:374)"t his a(cid:272)tual (cid:271)i(cid:396)th date. Grew up in nazareth with a large family, 6 siblings. Father died early on because he is mentioned very little and not at all in later scripture. John the baptist: preached fiery sermons about living an austere live. Jesus met and joined with him and was possibly baptized by john. At the age of 33, jesus was confronted by roman authorities, tried and crucified. Lived in messianic age: great deal of turmoil now for jews.
