Dead sea scrolls almost every text in the hebrew bible (minus book of esther) have been found in the dead sea scrolls. These text were very important also non- biblical texts were found as well. In the ancient context there was no canon not fixed and universally acknowledged. Rather there are collections of scriptures and texts which were set apart and used in different ways in different communities. Difference between bible (collection of sacred texts, continuity of the texts), canon (collection of religious texts. 2) interpretation of scripture relational quality has to be considered as meaningful to a certain group.
