People disagree options: one person is right, other is wrong or both people should suspend judgment. Liberal state cannot impose views of civil unions on religious communities. Human beings should try and improve themselves, do this by learning about people different from you. Reasonableness of evidence regarding opinions varies from culture to culture. Reasonable citizens may have different views of the world but have to co-exist. Need to negotiate without giving up or giving into other people s views.
