Empirical > observaions, not based on opinions or feelings. Science cannot provide the answers to all quesions. Scieniic ideas are tentaive - doesn"t represent absolute truth but increasingly accurate approximaions. Scieniic research have 2 criteria: validity - research is relevant to the quesion being asked, reliability repeatability/ consistency of the research (same experiment under same condiions give same results)
