Teilhard de chardin: said there were two forces one was entropy. The sun will die and were eventually all going to die: other one was evolution. Scientists aren"t able to exaplin how feelings, emotions, spiritual elements etc that distinguishes us from being animals. Evolution moves into phases highest =omega point. Noosphere=evolution here is also continuing; but here humans have free will and problems are created here because humans have the choice to self destruct themselves, to evolve again etc. And then omega point = he encourages everyone to go to this level. He sees god at the beinging and the end of this evolutionary process. Issues with the christianity= no one really believed in their faith they were just born into. Pacifism: argument that true christians should be a pacifist because of the beatitudes in the new testament; blessed are the peacemakers. Just war theory: apparently there are passages in the old and new testament where violence is ok.
