Thus* these dolls show that race is everywhere. This is a message given to young girls, and hence kids get these messages early on because of things like this. So race is everywhere, and can be in little things like a doll store. This idea that based on physical criteria, we construct race, which is socially constructed and then we assign different worth based on this. *non-racial issues can also become racial very fast (like the fight over a parking spot) when someone gives someone else a different moral worth.
